Testosterone

Optimization

What is Testosterone Optimization Therapy (TOT)?

Testosterone Optimization Therapy (TOT) is not just a fancier way of saying Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT). TRT is exactly what it sounds like, giving patients with symptoms of low T some testosterone to replenish low levels. The typical, one-size-fits-all method used for TRT for decades has been 1 shot every 1-2 weeks. For some men, this works out okay, but for most men, these outdated protocols leaves much to be desired.

The core principle of TOT is not only keeping testosterone at optimal levels for symptom relief, but also for the overall health & longevity benefits. Traditionally, medical professionals are taught not to treat low testosterone until levels are 300 or below, but there is an abundance of research linking suboptimal testosterone levels (800 or below) with increased risk of multiple chronic diseases, like heart disease, diabetes, and Parkinson’s.
